Hello fellow readers,

I want to write a post here about what had just happened. In short, just read. Many times I've complained about the company in my life. While I was bringing my dog out for a drive, I came across a friend who just finished school and was on the way walking home. I decided to give him a lift.  Seeing him is like seeing my high school life again, even though my high school life was over 9 months ago. I remember the time where him, me and 6 or 7 others would hang out and have long talk, laughter and fun. We enjoyed each others company without any thought of our background "are he/she rich, or poor?" or "he/she is so lame" or even any back talks.

While we were in the car on the way to his home, I realize something wasn't the way it was.... It was quiet. So I popped the question, "dude, are you alright? You're so quiet.... that's weird.... so awkward... hahaha". He just looked at me and said "oh nothing, just tired. " Then I realized that he was going back home way later than school was out. "I was doing my exams cause I was absent last week" "One of my loved one has passed on". I completely blanked out. I didn't know what to say, what to do. This is the first time I'm hearing this type of situation and I have no slight clue of what am I suppose to do. I just said what I believe everyone would have said "I'm so so so sorry to hear that" I just patted his shoulder and continued concentrating on the road. All the way to his place, the surrounding was quiet. I didn't want to say any jokes because I don't know if he would like that. So when we reached the destination, words began coming out. "thank you"     "no problem at all, bye :) "    Just these two sentence. I waited for him to get in the house and I drove off after waving goodbye.

I felt a hole in my heart as I could feel the hole in my friends heart. I could sense him missing and thinking about this loved one. Then my eyes was opened, I should appreciate my loved ones when they are around and not when they WERE around.

"Make the most of yourself, for that is all there is of you."
